Update 3/2024: A beauty lover on Reddit spotted the new Fragrance Gift Option from Giorgio Armani, and another beauty on Reddit actually got the gift!
Sephora also revealed (in this post) that Gucci will also make an appearance in this year’s birthday gift list. Now THAT’s exciting!

The Kale + Green Tea Spinach Vitamin Cleanser is one of their most popular products, but it’s also a product that you might have tried before. The cleanser has been featured in Sephora Favorites sets, and gift sets from other retailers.
So, overall this Youth To The People skincare gift set is kind of boring, and the foil packet is disappointing.
In 2023, Sephora partnered with Glow Recipe and Farmacy (VIB/Rouge members only) to produce their skincare birthday gift options.

Kosas – Lip & Brow Birthday Set

The Kosas “Lip & Brow Birthday Set” includes a sample size of the:

Kosas “Lip & Brow Birthday Set” total value = $19.80 USD
Partnering with Kosas is an interesting option because it’s a trending brand (with great products), but their most “viral” products are nowhere to be found in this gift set.
Beauties interested in trying Kosas for the first time, will miss out on their “bestselling” products if they choose this option, but a lip gloss and clear brow gel can work for anyone so its a decent gift option for 2024.
In fact, it would be pretty hard to include their popular Revealer Concealer, or Cloud Set setting powder (for example) because those top products are complexion products (meaning there’s no universal shade).
So, Sephora wouldn’t be able to appeal to the masses and that could result in a PR disaster. Still, its a good option if you are interested in trying Kosas products.
In 2023, Sephora partnered with ILIA to produce their makeup birthday gift option.

I would have loved to see newer products as a birthday gift offering like the viral blush or highlighter wand.
In 2023, Sephora partnered with Patrick Ta to produce their VIB/Rouge member only makeup gift.

MoroccanOil is the haircare brand featured in 2024’s Sephora Birthday Gift line up.
The MoroccanOil “Ultimate Hydration Birthday Set” includes a sample size of the:
- Hydrating Shampoo (1.35 oz / 40 ml) – $10.29 value
- Hydrating Conditioner (1.35 oz / 40 ml) – $4.13 value
- Treatment Hair Oil (0.5 oz / 15 ml) – $4.13 value

MoroccanOil “Ultimate Hydration Birthday Set” total value = $19.20 USD
MoroccanOil is a great choice for Sephora’s haircare birthday gift because their products are liked by beauties with different hair types. But, again some of these products have been featured heavily in multi-brand sets and as gift with purchases.
MoroccanOil would have been the perfect brand to introduce a multi-category birthday gift option, since they offer haircare, AND body-care products.
That would have been a welcomed upgrade to the traditional haircare or makeup or skincare set up.
In 2023, Sephora partnered with Ouai and Kerastase (VIB/Rouge members only) to produce their haircare birthday gift option.

Sephora Birthday Points Gift 2024 – 250 BI Points
All Sephora Beauty Insiders will able to choose 250 Bonus Points for their free Sephora Birthday Gift 2024.
I wouldn’t suggest this option unless you are close to your next point tier (ie. You’re at 2300 points and want to get to 2500 points so you can get a better points perk gift in the future).
These birthday gift options are better value than what you get in the Rewards Bazaar with just 250 points. Those 100 point gifts can be so teeny tiny, ugh!
Sephora states that you can “add 250 Bonus Points to your Beauty Insider Account to redeem in our Rewards Bazaar or for BI Cash”.
Added points will reflect to your Beauty Insider account within 24 hours of birthday gift redemption.
