Maybelline Fit Me Tinted Moisturizer Review
The Maybelline Fit Me Tinted Moisturizer is a liquid formula that is thin, but not too runny.
In general, you can use your Fit Me Foundation shade as a guide to purchasing this product.
For example, if you are 355 Coconut in the Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation, then the shade 355 may be a good match for you.
My shade range for the Fit Me Matte+ Poreless Foundation is somewhere in the 360’s, so although 360 swatched really warm, I gave it a try.
The arm swatch appears much warmer than It does on the face. Tinted moisturizers tend to thin out as you blend them in.
I used an ELF blending brush to blend in the product for these pictures, but using your fingers works just as good.

To Be Dewy or Not To Be Dewy, That Is The Question
The Fit Me Tinted Moisturizer coverage can be considered sheer to light. You may not need a second layer of coverage, especially if you add concealer.
Here I applied one layer of product and stopped there. If you like dewy coverage, then you’re done! Super quick and easy application.
I wanted to test the product a bit, plus I like a natural matte finish, so I set the tinted moisturizer with my Dermablend loose setting powder.
Can I just say that I am shook with how nice the Fit Me Tinted Moisturizer (with Primer and Setting Powder) turned out? The coverage is smooth, blurring, and appears softly matte.
I have been looking for a tinted moisturizer for years! A lot of formulas are overly dewy and can’t be set with powder without looking weird.
I am a fan of the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizers, but a drugstore option is much needed in the beauty space.
The Fit Me Tinted Moisturizer is a winner for me. I am able to wear it for 7+ hours shine free, and after about 9hrs I simply dab off the little shine with a tissue and it looks new again!
The coverage is very lightweight on the skin, but after the 9hr mark I could definitely “feel” it on the skin. The coverage was still smooth and looks amazing though. That’s the trade off I’m willing to take.
For less than $10, I defiantly recommend the Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Tinted Moisturizer.
About Undertones
If you have a warm skin tone there aren’t a lot of shade options. The shade 360 is warm, but sheers out quite a bit.
Almost all other shade options appear neutral from swatches I’ve seen online and in store.

Tinted Moisturizers are more universal than Foundation shades. For example, I can wear 360 and 368 because the formula is thin, and blends into the skin well.
If you can’t find an exact match, the shade closest to your skintone will likely work.
When in doubt, choose a tinted moisturizer shade that is slightly lighter, especially if you plan on using powders and bronzer to complete the look.
Do you use Tinted Moisturizer before Foundation?
Tinted Moisturizer is mostly used instead of foundation. Tinted Moisturizer provides hydration to the skin, adds sheer to light coverage, and can hide small imperfections.
Using both Tinted Moisturizer and Foundation would likely feel heavy and look cakey.
Is Tinted Moisturizer better than foundation?
Some Tinted Moisturizer are better than Foundation because they are hydrating, often include SPF coverage, and feel light weight on the skin compared to Foundations. What is best for you will depend on your skin needs, lifestyle, and desired look.
