Editor’s Notes: Be Obsessed With Your Own Potential
- This viral message has 57K shares.

Look, you need to Be Obsessed With Your Own Potential. Not “obsessed” with anyone else and what they are doing.
That goes for me too! I’m a work in progress, in many ways.
There’s so much more for me to learn about beauty and blogging.
Hell, there’s so much more to learn about LIFE!
This is exactly what I want to share with you (bare with me).
Passion, love, and learning is never-ending.
Even if you’re an expert in your field, have raised kids, or have completed your first Iron Man there’s so much more to learn in life.
Often I talk to my partner about passion and potential.
He’s more of a day-to-day type of guy and I’m forever the dreamer.
I spend hours and even spend days on the potential of something.
I research and talk about what I could do with this or that and essentially become obsessed.
Now I’ll cut to the chase and say that most of the time I find out my great new idea isn’t so great, or takes too much time, or is a distraction to my overall goal.
However, I’m never bothered by my “head in the clouds” attitude because:
- I believe in the idea of exploring possibilities then assessing their worth (time, effort, etc.)
- Ideas that get you excited = passion!
- Believing in your own potential is sometimes all you have.

Most of us don’t have wealth, 10 years to dedicate, or a personal guide to lead us to success.
So, let yourself be obsessed with the potential of something else.
The potential of having or doing something more.
Just make sure you go back to point #1 and ask yourself if that task, path or journey is worth it.
I hope you have a great week, and we will talk soon.
xoHanya.
I absolutely love this article/ blog post. I think a lot of us, especially as women, are all too familiar with this feeling! Wonderful post!
